Job Description

We are looking for a Specialist Work Management Technology Capabilities to join our team!

This role is responsible for providing strategic support for Asset & Work Management technology implementations across the Enterprise, specifically in the areas of Business Readiness and Support & Sustainment. The incumbent will work with the Business Units to gain an understanding of the requirements for new technology solutions and identify meaningful insights to inform decisions and actions for the Enterprise Application Capabilities team and TIS technology implementation projects

What You Will Do

  • Provide strategic support in the development and maintenance of the enterprise business capability roadmap for Asset and Work Management (AWM) with a focus on the required technology solutions

  • Provide expert functional knowledge of how the AWM business processes are supported by AWM applications across the enterprise

  • Effectively convey the technical message to partners to gain and increase support for the AWM applications.

  • Collaborate and build positive relations with a network of Leaders across the enterprise in the area of Asset & Work Management technology solutions.

  • Work effectively and build trust with TIS project managers to strategically support technology implementation projects.

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end processes within the Asset and/or Work Management functions across the enterprise.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and make recommendations to assist critical business decisions during the development and implementation of AWM solutions.

Who You Are

You will have the following:

  • Related university degree and 7+ years of previous work management operations experience. An equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.

  • Understanding of current Work Management and Asset systems.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops with participants ranging across a broad range of roles involved in the conduct of work. (e.g. Directors, Supervisors, Clerks, Field Technicians, Operational Support Reps).

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and consensus building skills to effectively work with business & TIS teams to produce positive outcomes.

  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships across the enterprise.

  • Experience with Asset Management and/or Work Management functions is an asset.
