Job Description

Job Overview

The Program Development Lead is responsible for supporting the Programs Team at CEE to meet monthly and annual deliverables. Supporting the management team, this individual will oversee program planning, strategy and budget, working closely with the Director of Program and Education. Additionally, stewarding partner relations throughout the program lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Strategy

  • Contribute to CEE’s internal program planning and strategy as a member of the management team
  • Take part in annual strategic planning and program planning

Program Delivery Execution & Trouble Shooting/ Operationalization

  • Overseeing the implementation of programming to ensure that all key deliverables are being met by funder.
  • Supporting in the problem solving and resolution of any potential challenges and/or gaps that may exist and/or may be identified during planning or implementation.
  • Liaising with Senior Leadership as required to identify any gaps in service delivery that may need to be addressed. Working closely with the Director of Programs and Education to propose solutions and work on finding innovative ways to implement them in order to meet the needs of our funders and program partners while staying true to the mission, vision and values of CEE.

Finances and Reporting

  • Support the Director of Programs & Education to develop CEE’s annual program budget
  • Support the Director of Programs & Education in producing timely reports for funders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Business Administration, Non Profit Management or a related field.
  • Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
  • Experience with project and program management is an asset
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Solid understanding of financial management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A go getter who is willing to get the job done.
  • A problem solver who is prepared to find a solution on their feet and to find ways to better and improve upon current processes and create systems that create efficiency within the department.
  • Comfortable working with and speaking to external facing program partners and potential donors and employers
