Project Coordinator, Social Impact

Reporting to the Director, sustainability & social Impact the role connects with our people, partners and customers. We are looking for a coordinator to create, maintain, and coordinate numerous programs and initiatives for the Spirit of Sustainability platform while supporting the broader departments of corporate affairs and strategy.

About this Role

Sustainability & Social Impact

  • Support core functions such as program execution, inquiry correspondence, partnership management, expense management, budget tracking, donation fulfilment and scheduling
  • Act as the primary point of contact and problem solver for various inquires related to the Spirit of Sustainability platform
  • Review requests for charity events throughout the organization against the criteria to approve, reject, and or request additional information
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with platforms stakeholders including charity partners, vendors and good partners from the beverage alcohol industry: ensure meaningful, relevant touchpoints to retain and grow affinity
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and special events with various stakeholders
  • Develop and prepare internal and external reports of status, campaign wrap-reports, presentations, and outcomes of project activities
  • Monitor, identify and execute content updates on the sustainability section on Doing Business with LCBO and with relevant information
  • Submit and coordinate the translation of content through BROCA and liaison with FLS services as needed
  • Develop, maintain a tracking system, and coordinate the tracking and execution of all donation payments to charity partners as determined by the donation agreement
  • Coordinate the request, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of all department and project KPI’s and Metrics as requested
  • Coordinate the execution of the Spirit of Inclusion Initiative (SOII) by maintaining regular contact with education institutions, charitable organizations, mentors, mentees and trade partners to provide bursaries and scholarships to identified students
  • Support the content updating of information into promotional pieces such as brochures, public presentations, letters, newsletters, intranet, and website updates

Corporate Affairs, Strategy & Sustainability & Social Impact

  • Plan and coordinate meetings and special events with various stakeholders
  • Maintain all department expenses; review and process all invoices into the Oracle system with accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Prepare, analyze, monitor all teams’ budgets, financial and reconciliation reports
  • Liaison with vendors and suppliers to ensure payment processes are clear and invoices are processed, and payment is issued within payment terms
  • Work closely with the Executive Assistant, CEO & President
  • Work closely to support the corporate affairs and strategy teams as required and assigned

 What will you bring to the team?

  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and project-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, often competing priorities with a positive attitude
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change
  • Well-organized and self-motivated, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a small team
  • Experience in cause partnerships, grassroots community initiatives and diversity and inclusion partnerships an asset
  • Experience in an agency, non-profit, charity or partner management role is considered an asset
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solution skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with colleagues and achieve outcomes through influence.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize internal stakeholders.
  • University or college degree in either a program management, public relations, or communication
  • Experience in Oracle preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in related field
