The OmniChannel Graphic Designer will work with Marketing Operations, and Digital transformation to assist in the visual representation and execution of digital and printed materials that support the Kids Help Phone brand.

As an Omnichannel Graphic Designer, you thrive in brand and communications representation, from branding to digital & print. As a visual storyteller, you can take rough concepts and data and bring them to life to tell stories not just show data. You use your talent to transform CEO, executive, and internal presentations to exceptional visual and engaging storytelling.
What You’ll do
Support the creation and production of Marketing ideas that enhance the brand and inspire our stakeholders.
Creatively implement consistent brand messaging and visual design executions across a wide variety of collateral and media including traditional and emerging media.
Determines an appropriate design approach for projects and presents recommendations, as needed, including but not limited to digital and print vehicles that range across website landing pages, editorial content, email, donor pitch presentations, social media assets and youth targeted marketing assets (wearables, magnets, signage, OOH, direct mail pieces).
Conceptualize design strategies in-line with brand aesthetics and standards for seasonal internal Campaigns and partners with our creative agency partners (when required) for brand alignment.
Support AVP Brand Transformation and Marketing Operations and Director of Digital Content and Solutions to build a library of video, digital, audio and print assets to expand representation of diverse and inclusive young people, lifestyles and activities. Ensuring visuals are on-brand, contemporary, representative of our stakeholders and desirable within approved direction.
Build and maintain the brand guidelines acting as a brand champion across the organization and with key partners
Manage the outreach materials from concept to design to distribution, seeking out the youth voice to ensure messaging is relevant and meaningful
Ensure brand consistency on all projects.
Research and provide recommendations on best practices, industry and consumer trends.
Effectively manage assigned projects as directed; Work within project schedules and deadlines.
Responsible for the archiving and retrieval of graphic production art, source files, template files and related graphical assets.
Ability to create and execute content-rich, engaging animated GIFs and HTML5 banner ads.
What You’ll Need
Post graduate degree or diploma in graphic design
1+ years’ experience in an advertising agency, design studio or retail organization
A passion for mental health and youth causes with energy to build brand presence through design and visual storytelling
Strong conceptual ability and attention to detail
Proficient in digital/web production and design, with experience in user interface design
Exceptional skills in design and typography
Solid problem solving abilities, strong communication skills and the ability to innovate with concept and executions.
Exceptional production skills with an intuitive sense of layout and design
You’ll already have the following:
Ability to work within a fast-paced, team environment
Strong prioritizing, problem-solving, presentation, communication and presentation skills
Skilled in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Ability to understand both the aesthetic needs and the technical requirements of the digital space and how to adapt from print to digital and vice-versa
Demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint, working knowledge of Prezi is an asset.
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS as well as an understanding of SEO and impact on web design.
Knowledge of UX principles and best practices and how they can be applied to design.
