Title: Innovations Project Lead
Position: Full Time, Contract April 2021 – March 2022 (with an opportunity for renewal)
Reports to: Director, Service Innovation
Location: Toronto (temporarily remote due to Covid 19)

The Innovations Project Lead will be responsible for managing the recently launched Service Innovation projects and their continued evolutions in 2021.

Reporting to the Director, Service Innovation, the incumbent’s role will include the sustainability and future iterations of our online chatbot, external data sharing initiatives, and internal innovation processes, and specifically includes managing interdepartmental stakeholders, external vendors, budget tracking, and other project management responsibilities associated with these projects.
What You’ll do
Outline all deliverables and activities associated with the chatbot, innovation, and data storytelling projects for 2021
Communicate priorities and deadlines across internal stakeholders
Track project progress, budgets, and assist in donor reporting
Liaise with Data and Service Innovation teams to advance projects along 2021 timelines and commitments
Work with the Director of Service Innovation to plan for new iterations of Service Innovation projects for 2021 and beyond, as well as outlining the project plans for each piece
Assist in creating internal project management templates and tools to synthesize project management across the Service department at Kids Help Phone.
What You’ll Need
Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant discipline (e.g. public health, social work, education, applied social sciences, communications, data);
Two years of project management or program coordination experience;
Experiencing managing interdepartmental projects with complex priorities, timelines, and budgets;
You’ll already have the following:
Experience with technology and/or web vendors an asset.
Demonstrated commitment to innovation, non-profit and/or mental health sector
Working knowledge of French preferred
