All proceeds raised by National Diabetes Trust through our donations pick-up program, previously known as Declutter, directly support Diabetes Canada and leading-edge diabetes research, education and advocacy for the more than 11 million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes.
Established over 30 years ago, our donations pickup program has grown to include a presence in more than 1,000 communities across the country. Through our National Diabetes Trust (NDT) operations, we divert more than 100 million pounds of clothing and household items from landfills. This energy savings is equivalent to planting 8.6 million trees each year.
As an employee on the National Diabetes Trust team, you are part of our national coverage in 2,500 communities, with 28 operations and 100 trucks.
